Type: Cottage

Chain: Gîte de Wallonie

Our very comfortable gîte is located in the heart of the smalle Ardennes village of Anlier which, along with 3 other villages form a large glade in the centre of the legendary forest with which the village shares a name...

Our gîte is a former farm, made of slate and typical of the houses built at the beginning of the last century.

Its interior is decorated with carpentry and oak, the frame of the original construction, and is warm and very comfortable.

The village of Anlier is located at the gateway to Gaume in the Habay-la-Neuve are, the former region of foundries. It is a peaceful region with many signposted walks, a sports' centre with indoor swimming pool and a variety of places to eat out.... nature lovers will be satisfied.

You will be able to visit many natural and architectural sights: lakes in the Rulles valley, the Château du pont d'Oye, the Château de la Trapperie...

According to the seasons, in the village and its surroundings: cross-country skiing, mountain bike tracks (2 mountain bikes available to rent on the premises), deer walks, mushroom-picking, the Bénédiction de la Forêt arts festival, fishing, tennis, horse-riding, local product shops and markets and much more.
