Les Plats Canailles de la Bleue Maison ... What an original name!
Why is it called the blue house? It comes from the Gaume dialect. La Bleue Maison was built before the Second World War. The foundations were made from blue stones. These stones were left over from forges that were very predominant in the 17th century and had turned blue from the heat.... and that's where the name la Bleue Maison comes from.
We bought this house in 1996 and renovated it with passion to achieve an outstanding result. The charming fireplace in winter and the sound of the waterfall in summer transports you back in time.
Feel at home with us. The atmosphere and the setting are carefully created and fitting for the good food. Our motto is “Celebrate and feast in this Bleue Maison”. This is pure happiness! Richard, assisted in the kitchen by Grégory Duranton, offers you dishes cooked with two pairs of skilled hands. The food they prepare is wonderful and tasty and uses organic and local products. It's so good!
