Janique and Christian have been harvesting honey for many years. Both are nature lovers and Janique is also a guide for local products and a nature guide.
Where the honey is produced
Janique and Christian Kemp's apiaries can be found in the valleys of Haute-Sûre (Rosières and Remoiville) and of Laval (Houmont).in Ardenne.
These rural regions where the flora is conserved are made up of meadow land, borders and forests that are full of wild flowers.
The springtime honey is essentially made up of dandelions and fruit tree blossom. The June honey is made up of fruit tree blossom, brambles and honeydew. The summer honey is made of brambles, clover, epilobium and honeydew.
Springtime honey (mild), June honey (caramelised and spicy notes) and summer honey (woody notes and notes of cooked fruit).
